Camping Rates

Camping Rate Increase

There will be a increase in site fees from 1 July 2023. While there has been no fee increase in the past two years, fees will be increasing by 5%. This has been necessitated by the inflation rate and a number of expenditure increases including:

·        The purchase of new washing machines and dryers across the reserve
·        The installation of a new office building, and
·        Increases in the running costs of the Camping Reserve, including more efficient collection of rubbish, contracted cleaning services and more staff.

WFCoM is aware that a combination of interest rate increases and inflation is having a real impact on all Victorians. For this reason we have increased fees by considerably less than the current inflation rate.

The Peak season rates are $53 for a powered site and $49 Unpowered.
The full rate list can be found on our updated rates table.

Peak Season Bookings 2023 opening Soon !

Bookings for the Summer peak will be available to book online from:

9am on Saturday July 1st 2023

Applicable dates are as follows:

  • Summer Peak -December 26th  Boxing Day – January 31, including Australia Day long weekend.

As there will be high demand for these bookings, there are a couple of points to consider:

  • Securing more than two sites in a single name in this periods will result in ALL bookings in that name being cancelled and the applicable cancellation fees being charged.  This is being done to prevent multiple sites being tied up by one person, preventing access to these sites during the release rush.
  • While it is possible to secure a maximum of two sites in one booking session, given the high demand during the release, it is unlikely that you will be successful in securing two sites this way. It is recommended that you secure a single site as a first step  and return to the system to see if a second site is available using a separate booking.
  • Sites “swap and cancel” amongst friends and family members are not allowed. So please do not have family members book a backup on your behalf in case you miss out, with a view to only keeping the “best” site. This unfairly ties up sites during the release rush.
  • Maximum Stay on one site is 6 weeks. Any abutting bookings that extend beyond the peak periods will be clipped to this maximum length.

Sites are numbered 1 through 132.

Sites 34 & 37 are our two bungalows. During Summer peak, bungalows can only be booked for 7 days, Tuesday to Tuesday. (26 Dec is a Tuesday this year)

Please review our Booking FAQ to see more information and to download a detailed guide on how to book.

Good luck with your Bookings.
